Seed Cycling Bliss Balls

Seed cycling is a practice that consists of adding certain seeds to your diet during each phase of your menstrual cycle. It’s an excellent way to add valuable nutrients for hormone balance and cycle regulation. These Seed Cycling Bliss Ball recipes intentionally support the follicular and luteal phases. Both are powered by ingredients that cultivate a blissful state while nourishing the body and mind.

Each bite-sized recipe makes about 6 balls. Store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Disclaimer: We strongly advise limiting intake to one serving daily to ensure a balanced and safe experience. Please consult your healthcare practitioner before adding any new herbs to your wellness routine.

Follicular Phase Recipe

Based on the average 28-day cycle, the follicular phase typically occurs during days 1-14. Estrogen is the dominant hormone during this time, and ensuring it stays in balance is an integral part of a regulated cycle. For this bliss ball recipe, pumpkin seeds and flax are highlighted for their benefits. Flax aids in balancing estrogen production while pumpkin seeds provide zinc. They both work together to soothe inflammation.

Matcha Mind

The follicular phase recipe is powered by our Matcha Mind Elixir. This vibrant blend is intentionally crafted with superfoods like full-bodied Matcha, Moringa and Lion’s Mane. These herbal allies work to provide a gentle boost of energy, along with a sense of flow, clarity and ease throughout the day.

What You’ll Need:

Food processor or blender

6 TB Raw Pumpkin Seeds

4 TB Ground Flax

2 TB Rolled Oats

1 TB Nut or Seed Butter

1 TB Honey

1 TB Coconut Oil

1 TB Harmonic Arts Matcha Mind Elixir plus extra for coating

1 TB Nut Mylk

How to Make Follicular Phase Bliss Balls:

  1. Add the oats, flax, and pumpkin seeds into the food processor and pulse to obtain a flour consistency.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and process to obtain a sticky mixture. Add more nut mylk if the mixture is too dry.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls using your hands.
  4. Place the balls onto a plate and roll in Matcha Mind Elixir, coating evenly.
  5. Transfer into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

Luteal Phase Recipe

The Luteal Phase typically occurs between days 15-28 of your cycle, when progesterone takes over as the dominant hormone. This is the phase where symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome can show up. Sesame and sunflower seeds work together in these bliss balls to combat PMS symptoms. The sunflower seeds are packed with selenium — a valuable mineral that supports liver function, and therefore, the elimination of excess hormones.

5 Mushroom Chocolate

This luteal phase recipe features our 5 Mushroom Chocolate Elixir. Pave the way to bliss by cultivating whole-body balance with the world’s top 5 functional mushrooms. Smooth and velvety, this Elixir is packed with heirloom Cacao, an antioxidant-rich superfood that activates feel-good neurotransmitters to uplift our mood.
