WHAT ARE MEDICINAL MUSHROOMS?

Medicinal mushrooms have a history of traditional use dating back thousands of years. Many are treasured for their therapeutic value in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Indigenous Medicine and other ancient healing systems.

At Harmonic Arts, we work with the top 5 most researched mushrooms in the world: Chaga, Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Turkey Tail and Reishi.

OUR PROMISE TO YOU

We source our mushrooms from the mountains of rural China and birch forests of Siberia. These regions have a long history of sustainable mushroom cultivation. We’ve done our research to ensure these are the best farms in the world, providing the highest quality fruiting body mushrooms. Here’s what we can promise you:

ORGANIC, NON-GMO SOURCING Our mushrooms are not created in a lab! They are grown in a natural environment without any pesticides or pollutants. We only use mushrooms produced on small, certified organic farms.
SUSTAINABLE FARMING PRACTICE Our cultivation partners grow whole fruiting body mushrooms traditionally and sustainably. We make sure to have minimal impact on the ecosystems where our mushrooms are grown.
THIRD PARTY TESTED FOR QUALITY Our Concentrated Mushroom Powders go through two rounds of testing: once at the lab in China, and again in Canada. We check for consistency and potency, and make sure there are no heavy metals or bacteria present.
100% FRUITING BODY We use 100% fruiting body because it has the highest concentration and variety of active compounds. This includes >30% polysaccharide content. Fruiting bodies also have the best flavour!

HISTORY OF USE IN CANADA

Indigenous herbalism has relied on fungi for thousands of years. Chaga, especially, has a long history of use in the west. Many First Nations use Chaga to connect with spirituality, treat viral infections, and soothe inflammation.
